My new release is Out Of The Blue a two disc package featuring 13 original big band compositions. On this recording, I have assembled Bluband, some of New York City’s greatest sessions players The album is “new music written for my NY “cats” with no constraints or limitations.” Out Of The Blue features such NYC mainstays as Bob Millikan, Glenn Drewes, Bud Burridge, Birch Johnson, David Taylor, Lawrence Feldman, Dave Riekenburg Zev Katz, Tom Barney, David Spinozza, Buddy Williams and many others.

He's been a member of Blood, Sweat and Tears, The Saturday Night Live Band, The Original Blues Brothers Band and his credits include hundreds of albums, many of which have gone platinum.
He has recorded with such luminaries as Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Lou Reed and Frank Zappa, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, The Band and Steely Dan to name just a few.
Lou is an original member of The Blues Brothers since their first appearances on Saturday night Live, and has appeared in both movies and on all of recordings and tours.
